Our country is hurting. Politics has become so polarized. It is just awful.
Unfortunately, the Left has been the source of this vitriol, by and large.
First, they use taxpayer dollars to buy votes. They have been doing this for years, with money flowing from public funds into unions, which are then funneled to politicians who will support the unions' compensation demands.
But now, Joe Biden has taken this a step further with his loan "forgiveness" plans. And Kamala promises to double down by giving home buyers $25,000 and increasing "tax credits" (i.e., payments) to families with children. Sounds great, except this is all borrowed money on top of a pile of already borrowed money.
Second, Biden ran on being a moderate and bringing the country together after Trump's divisive presidency. He governed as a Far Left liberal and the country has been further divided led by President Biden himself. Biden and Harris has falsely claimed that Trump is going to be a dictator and he (and his supporters) are Nazis.
The Left says they want civility, togetherness, and common sense, but their politicians do the opposite.
The Left has always been the party of Free Speech, but that tenet has been replaced with controlling "hate speech" and "misinformation" as a way to censor their political opponents. This attack on our First Amendment is far more serious than who is running for president. Without free speech, our democracy truly may not survive.
And Biden/Harris' open border policy has meant to flood our country with illegal immigrants who one day may cement a permanent democratic voting majority because so many will be dependent on government funding. Yet the other consequences seem to be of no concern: high crime, illegal drugs, human trafficking, gangs, and terrorists.
So I share your concerns for our democracy, when so many people can be fooled again and again, and yet they continue to support more of the same.
Yes G, it's the Left and Biden that are tearing this country apart with their vitriolic rhetoric. Do you hear yourself? Do you listen to Biden, Harris, Walz, Trump, and Vance? The vile filth Trump and Vance spew is not matched in any way by the Democrats.
It's that rhetoric, what it stands for, and liars like you that refuse to acknowledge facts that are tearing this country apart.
Hopefully the country rises up and repudiates Trump AGAIN (two elections, 10.5 million less votes than his opponents) today so his pathetic era comes to a close so the country can start to heal.
Maybe if you go back and re-read your response, you can start the healing process by apologizing for calling anyone who disagrees with you a "liar," or worse.
