To the editor:

Ted Morgan would have us believe a state income tax, or more appropriately, an income redistribution tax will solve the New Hampshire education funding “problem.” He’s wrong.

Another important point to make is that teachers are public employees represented by a union, and that union's purpose is to increase the pay, benefits, and job security of their members (not to represent students.) So in districts with declining enrollment, is it any wonder that total spending keeps rising, more bureaucracy is needed in the age of computers, and staff reductions end up increasing wages and benefits and not returning excess funds achieved through operational efficiencies to taxpayers?

To many blue folks have invaded new hampshire and do not respect new hampshire. They leave their blue states because of high taxes, fraud, pork, bloat, and open doors. They come to beautiful more red states looking to escape the despair. But they forget to leave their blueness behind. Please respect new hampshire, we do not want all that blueness and all that comes with it. We are kind, welcoming, simple kind of folk that likes things the way they are. Don't come here looking to change perfection. Become one of us and enjoy life. Here in new hampshire, Live Free or Die actually means something..... GOD BLESS AMERICA ! and ABSOLUTELY NO NEW TAXES !!!!
