To the editor:

Between President Donald Trump’s acceptance of the Qatari plane — which cost taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars to retrofit so he can use it for two and a half years before retiring it to his library — and the billions being spent on a war that no one wanted, it looks like we’re going to come out of it worse off than we were under the Obama nuclear deal with Iran. There are so many things to be appalled by that I feel I have to speak up.
