He was not storming a building. He was not charging officers. He was not armed in the way the government claims. He was standing in the street in Minneapolis, holding a phone, doing something profoundly American: watching the state exercise overreaching power and recording it.

The agents conducting these ICE operations seem to be equipped more military than paramilitary....armed with the most up-to-date battlefield / wartime grade long arms, laser sites, flash/sound suppressors and other war time tactical gear.... worn while interacting on American soil with U.S. citizens. In American law enforcement this sort of kit/gear is normally reserved for the most elite and highly trained hostage rescue / SWAT teams, and only when they deploy on a high risk mission. Just another observation things have gotten out of control.
If you do not respect the law or the officers enforcing those laws you will pay the consequence.
If local government and local law enforcement was fully cooperating with the federal government as they should, the apprehensions would be precise and surgical, and less mistakes would be made.

Peaceful protest is when you show a presence from a distance to make your feelings known. The minute you cross that line, you are no longer a peaceful protestor, you are an antagonist!

Let’s see, beating, macing police officers, some left with permanent disabilities, causing the deaths of police. $30 million worth of damage to the capitol building, smearing feces on the walls and floor, attempting to hang the vice president, and any other representative that they could catch. What was that, just having a little fun? Your hypocrisy is amazing. By your standards, the police machine gunning them would have been appropriate, I agree.
But they were pardoned, as have drug dealers, con artists, etc. Turning criminals out onto our streets.
