OSSIPEE — A Carroll County Superior Court judge is allowing some of the claims in the lawsuit filed by Bonnie Batchelder, the county's former chief financial officer, to move forward, including breach of contract, breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, and tortious interference with business relations. However, he dismissed a defamation claim and a second breach of contract claim.

Following a hearing he held March 30, Judge Mark Attorri released a 14-page written order on July 4, which was stamped by the clerk July 6.
