Just wondering, what's your take on the Ashli Babbitt shooting? The reason I'm asking is that I don't see that falling under the "Use of Force" doctrine. I believe Michael Byrd was not justified in that situation. He panicked and shot indiscriminately into the crowd without regard to where his bullets would land. Ashli Babbitt posed no threat that justified the use of deadly force. Yet, Byrd was lauded by the Left as a hero.
Once again MEPD, you will believe whatever fits your narrative. As I said, the combined video with all angles clearly shows the car didn't make contact with the ICE officer, much less run over his feet or him like your dear leader keeps lying about.
That video also shows the officer clearing his weapon from his holster BEFORE he came around the side that almost contacted him, a clear violation of weapons usage and common sense. As guest pointed out in another post, if they believed she was a threat (which they didn't and shouldn't) they could simply have picked her up later. They CHOSE to ratchet the situation up to lethality in contravention of any sensible procedures or logic.
As usual you try to pivot and conflate two very different scenarios. Ashli Babbit was part of a mob that was violent, and officers were getting hurt, some badly. She was trying to force her way into the building, not sitting in her car clearly posing no hazard to anyone. Do I believe Ashli should have been shot? Absolutely not. If the group of American citizens trying to break into the Capitol building had been minorities, do I believe they would have been met with National Guard troops firing into the crowd? Absolutely. The Jan. 6th rioters were treated deferentially because they were White, and now they've been pardoned for the same reason.

Fast forward to the Biden administration, where a wide-open border policy has been in effect for four years. That’s right, Art, 4 years of millions upon millions of unvetted, unaccounted for, illegal immigrants strategically bused or flown, for free, throughout the Country. Most of which wound up in small cities and towns in purple and red States, under the cover of darkness, for the sole purpose of changing the state's demographic makeup. Yup, with the help of privately funded NGOs and Democrat operatives, they were given all manner of freebies and “encouraged” to vote Democrat if the opportunity presented itself. Face it, Art, they were given more largess than most citizens.
So now Trump comes along and promises to do the right thing and round up the millions of illegals, starting with the most egregious criminals, so Liberal Democrats are whipped up into a frenzy. By the way, over 80% of the electorate is on board with the plan to deport the illegals.
So, in a nutshell, the Democrats created this problem, and now the Democrats are upset with the solution. How typical. How cynical. How sinister.
Of course, as with all of their liberal feel-good, consequences-be-damned, failed policies, they refuse to accept responsibility for the carnage they have caused. They would rather blame others while wrapping themselves in the cloak of empathy, sympathy, and humanity.
So, if you want to talk about cruelty, look in the mirror and realize who is really to blame for this mess.
