To the editor:

It is “budget” season again and little has changed in recent years. Five years ago, I wrote a letter to the editor expressing concern about the Madison School District budget, stating that as a resident and taxpayer it had become nearly impossible to support proposed spending because of unnecessary costs (Conway Daily Sun, 5/8/2021). I encourage all Madison residents, taxpayers and voters to read the Advisory Budget Committee report in the Madison School District Annual Report (pp. 41-42) for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025.
