Once again, Conway voters demonstrated their collective wisdom, even as they navigated a lengthy ballot — a stack of pages, printed on both sides.

That was especially evidenced by the election of Peter Donohoe to the board of selectmen. While it’s unfortunate that four-term incumbent Carl Thibodeau bore the brunt of voter frustration with town hall, the message was unmistakable: Residents want change. Donohoe’s win was especially notable given his vocal support for Article 57, which targeted the proposed next phase of the rec path — a proposal that voters decisively and correctly rejected.
