I wish to recognize recent letters to The Conway Daily Sun responding to our county commissioners’ decisions concerning medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Colleagues and friends, N.H. Rep. Jerry Knirk (D-Freedom) and Beth Dyer along with retired emergency services physician Jon Burroughs, all bring valid information and viewpoints that help us become better educated on the pros and cons of MAT.

We see both positive and negative outcomes with MAT therapy, but most importantly, we understand that there has to be what we call an end game.
