Thank goodness the SAU 9 Floridian superintendent candidate withdrew from the hiring process. You can’t write as incompetently as she wrote her withdrawal letter and be a superintendent anywhere. The written word should be your clearest method of communication.

Her rant, filled with run-on sentences, word salad and the charming spelling of barrage as borage, wouldn’t garner a C from a moderately demanding teacher of high school juniors. Perhaps she is a capable educational theorist, but a community’s educational leader needs political courage and the capacity to clearly convey her message.
