Power to the People

Those of us with traditional N.H. town meetings (not SB2) have again experienced the glory of pure democracy at our 2026 sessions.  Our town meeting is a legislative body where voters represent themselves. Each of us questions, debates, amends, and votes on legislation. Twenty-five of us can sign a petition and place an article directly on the warrant. True self-government is nearly extinct on the planet Earth, and we are among the very few with access to it.
