CONWAY – Voters at a special district meeting Thursday night approved an article to allow a solar farm to be built at the site of the district's former septic lagoons. Conway Village Fire District will now move forward with the proposed project with NhSolar Garden.

Article 3, the last to be discussed and voted on, gave commissioners the authority to enter into a 20-year lease, with the possibility of two 5-year extensions with NhSolar Garden for about 20 acres at the decommissioned wastewater treatment facility on Cess Pool Drive.
