LANCASTER — Former state Sen. Jeffrey Woodburn remains a free man after a superior court judge did not sentence him to a 30-day jail sentence on a criminal mischief conviction, a negative mark for state prosecutors in a case that continues to drag on in the court system.

Prominent New Hampshire defense attorney Mark Sisti is now legally representing former state Sen. Jeffrey Woodburn.
