CONWAY — The New Hampshire State Police are investigating a collision that occurred Monday night on Route 16 that extensively damaged the car of a motorist who was behind a Conway officer who suddenly did a U-turn.
According to the state police, at 7:14 p.m. on Monday, their dispatch received the report of a crash involving a Conway Police Department cruiser and an SUV on White Mountain Highway near Eastman Road in Conway.
