CONWAY — While excited, eager and somewhat nervous for the next chapter of their lives to unfold, three members of the Class of 2025 admit that “it seems like time has flown by” since they first entered Kennett High School. Class valedictorian Jack Heysler, class salutatorian Piper Lopashanski and Jemma Dimock, the MWV Career and Technical Center’s Student of the Year, look forward to today’s graduation ceremony starting at 10 a.m., when the Eagles will receive their diplomas, celebrate with their families and later depart for an evening of surprises courtesy of Project Graduation.
Jack will deliver the valedictorian speech, and Piper will also speak at the graduation ceremony, to be held outdoors in Gary Millen Stadium, weather permitting. It has now rained on each of the past 13 Saturdays leading up to the 102nd graduating class taking center stage. If the skies open up, the ceremony will move into Peter Ames Gymnasium with overflow seating in Loynd Auditorium.
