WOLFEBORO — A third Great Dane that is being held as evidence in the animal cruelty case against Christina Fay of Wolfeboro died this week in the care of the Humane Society of the United States. 

In June, police and members of the HSUS seized 84 dogs from locations in Wolfeboro and Bartlett. The Conway Area Humane Society received another nine dogs prior to the seizure.
