ALBANY — A Tamworth man died in a crash Saturday when his motorcycle crossed the center line on Route 16 and collided head-on with an oncoming SUV driven by a Conway woman, according to the Carroll County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff's deputies and state police responded at approximately 5:30 p.m. to Route 16 just north of Piper Trail in Albany (about a mile north of Drake Hill Road, which goes to World Fellowship Center).
