CONWAY — Sunday’s daylong snowstorm set up prime conditions for February school vacation week for vacationing families in Mount Washington Valley, although high winds Monday impacted some lift operations at ski areas, including at Wildcat Mountain, which closed on Monday due to those high gusts.

Winter has caught up in terms of snowfall totals just in time for the school vacation week, with snowfall totals for the month of February now above average following the weekend 9.9-inch storm.
