JACKSON — Despite temperatures in the teens and a big cross-country event in town, the "People's Rally" scheduled to coincide with the third annual women’s march on Washington in Jackson Village attracted about 30 participants, who walked from the covered bridge to Jackson Town Hall.
They included organizers Betsey Harding of Jackson, Tony Simone of Bartlett and state Rep. Anita Burroughs (D-Glen). Anti-abortion activist Jim Hrdlicka of Glen was there, as was gun-rights advocate Dr. Eugene Long of Eaton.
