CONWAY — All alpine and ski touring centers are in great shape following Friday and Monday’s storms, which, added to the great snowmaking weather and two earlier snowstorms, has started Christmas vacation week off strong in the Mount Washington Valley.

“We’re 100 percent open, with all trails and terrain, thanks to natural snowfall and snowmaking. We’re buried deep in snow, and we’re excited for a great week,” said Thomas Prindle, director of marketing for King Pine Ski Area in East Madison.
