CONWAY — An estimated 150 people gathered in North Conway’s Schouler Park at Friday morning to somberly commemorate the 25th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of 9/11.

A blustery northwest wind blew down across the park throughout the nearly hour-long ceremony, adding a brisk chill  as the American flag along with the black POW/MIA flag flew at half mast at the north end of the park behind the speaker’s podium.
