SAU 13 Superintendent Dr. Mike Whaland.

MADISON — SAU 13, serving the towns of Freedom, Madison and Tamworth announced Thursday, it is “thrilled to announce the reintroduction of its Early Childhood Program at Madison Elementary” for 3- and 4-year-olds from the three communities.

“I’ve been in education for 18 years, and I have to say, this is one of my proudest moments,” Superintendent Dr. Mike Whaland said by phone on Tuesday. “I’m extremely proud of my team, Student Service Director (for SAU 13) Lisa DuBois, Heather Sherwood, our business administrator, the building principals and the school boards. A lot of people worked to make this happen.”
