CONWAY — Rescuers late Saturday used a drone to locate a stranded Conway kayaker who had been missing for hours. Then on Sunday evening, they had to search for a rafter from Dover who got separated from her family and was later found at the Lobster Trap restaurant.
At about 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Conway Police Dispatch received a report that Mark Thompson, 69, of Conway was overdue from a kayaking trip with his son, according to Fish and Game’s press release. Thompson’s son was not named.
