CONWAY — Thursday marks the two-year anniversary of one of the worst floods in our area in recent history, and with Friday’s forecast of an inch of rain, a high of 54 degrees and gusts in excess of 30 mph, town officials are hoping history doesn’t repeat itself.

On Dec. 18, 2023, Conway experienced flooding worse than during Tropical Storm Irene in 2011 from a storm that brought 3.71 inchesof rain to North Conway.
