CONWAY — After getting pushback from local developers, builders and Realtors, the planning board unanimously voted to table their proposed ordinance, designed to slow development, until a capital improvement plan is in place.

“We had a huge turnout (at their Jan. 15 public hearing), and it was very poorly received, and it’s something that we need to consider going back to the drawing board,” said Ben Colbath, planning board chair, at the board’s Jan. 22 meeting.
