CONWAY — The inspiring story of Holocaust survivor Dr. Viktor Frankl has been retold in a children’s book written by Madison Elementary School guidance counselor Andrea M. Ackerly with Farmington art teacher Kimberly J.B. Smith, who also illustrated the book.

Frankl, an Austrian psychiatrist, wrote “Man’s Search for Meaning,” which is among the most widely read books in the world. Although imprisoned in a concentration camp by the Nazis during World War II, Frankl forgave his captors.
