OSSIPEE — Town officials, employees and members of the community gathered last Wednesday to witness the swearing-in of the town’s new police chief and lieutenant during a ceremony at the Freight House Annex Building.

James P. Sullivan was sworn in as chief by Town Clerk Kellie Skehan. Then Sullivan’s wife, Denise Sullivan, pinned on his chief’s badge.
