CONWAY — Selectmen are looking at a new town policy that would allow treasure hunters to use town parks as long as they don’t “scuff” them up.

On Aug. 22, the board held the first public hearing on a proposed policy from Town Manager John Eastman that would ban metal detecting and dowsing (using a forked stick to find water) on any town property.
