CONWAY — Scott McKinnon, chief executive officer of Memorial Hospital, plans to retire on Oct. 31. McKinnon, who has led Memorial for the past nine years, said the time is right for him to step away from work as a full-time executive.

“Though it is hard to leave such a fulfilling professional role, this is the right decision for me and my family,” said McKinnon, adding he plans an active retirement and may take on some project work in the future but will not be returning to a full-time position.
