CONWAY — The long-awaited proposed expansion and renovation of the 36-year-old Conway police station took a step forward last week at the site plan review for the project by the planning board.

On April 14, voters approved a $9.3 million bond for the project by a vote of 1,052-620, successfully clearing the required three-fifths majority threshold after two previous attempts in prior years had fallen short.
