CONWAY — The Conway Zoning Board of Adjustment on Wednesday voted 3-1 to require another balloon test for an amended proposal for a Verizon cell tower near Cathedral Ledge. Voting in favor were acting chair Jac Cuddy, members Mike Santuccio and Jon Hebert. Voting against was alternate Luigi Bartolomeo.

The test is being required because the applicant, Vertical Bridge of Delray Beach, Fla., returned with a scaled-down proposal for a 130-foot cell tower versus the original proposal for a 150-foot tower following public outcry at the ZBA’s August meeting.
