CONWAY — A North Waterboro, Maine, man who was previously indicted on felony charges that he threatened a local bartender with a gun and a knife had those charges dropped, and through a deal, pleaded guilty to a single misdemeanor Friday in Carroll County Superior Court.
Terrance Hackett, 63, was indicted in Superior Court last November on a felony charge of criminal threatening with a deadly weapon alleging that he pointed a loaded handgun at Bernard Cyr, a bartender at Horsefeathers in North Conway, during a Sept. 16, 2023, argument. This now dropped indictment was charged as a Class B felony carrying a potential sentence of 3½ to seven years in prison.
