BROWNFIELD — The blues returns in a big way to the foothills of western Maine when powerhouse vocalist and bassist Danielle Nicole takes the stage at the Stone Mountain Arts Center on Friday, March 27 at 8 p.m.

Known for her commanding stage presence, soulful voice, and virtuosic bass playing, Danielle Nicole has become one of the most exciting performers in contemporary blues. Long respected as a multi-award-winning bassist, Nicole stepped firmly into the spotlight as a vocalist when her album was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards in 2019. Since then, her reputation has only grown, placing her among the most celebrated blues artists performing today.
