CONCORD — Businesses in the Mount Washington Valley are struggling to find workers because of the lack of affordable housing, local experts recently told a Senate committee that is considering a bill aimed at addressing the issue.

Sen. Jeb Bradley (R-Wolfeboro) is the prime sponsor of SB 15. It would add $10 million to the Affordable Housing Fund and $5 million per year from the Real Estate Transfer Tax into the housing fund.
