CONWAY — Although the MWV Trails Association/Town of Conway’s request for an $800,000 grant for the proposed MWV Rec Path was not among the $5.7 million awarded in the state's 2018 Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) selection round, the project continues to move forward, said Chris Meier, trails association president.

“Our Phase I is totally funded at $2.3 million — this would have been an anchor grant for our $1.3 million Phase II,” Meier told the Sun on Wednesday upon hearing that the group’s latest request was not funded.
