LACONIA — The lead organizer of Laconia Motorcycle Week said he is getting pushback from people concerned about the upcoming 97th bike rally, which was rescheduled from June to Aug. 22-30 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I hope that they are as concerned about the whole summer and upcoming Labor Day as they are about Bike Week,” said Charlie St. Clair, executive director of Laconia Motorcycle Week Association.

All across the country, there are thousands of protesters who on a daily basis, gather without masks or social distancing and that seems to be okay. So why would anyone worry about these bikers who get together once a year to do their thing. Makes no sense to me. Just saying!
