CONWAY — Seven-month-old Labrador retriever Jonesy — named for The Conway Daily Sun’s Lloyd Jones — is moving quickly in her training with Assistance Canine Training Services. ACTS dogs are reared by puppy raisers in a carefully designed training plan geared toward placement as service and facility dogs.
The journey takes up to two years, so while Jonesy started at 8 weeks of age, she still has a lot of training moving forward.
