JACKSON — Organizers of a "People's Rally" are encouraging those who seek to resolve thorny issues like gun control and immigration to put their ideas on signs and carry them through Jackson Village on Saturday, Jan. 19.

The rally will begin at 1 p.m. at the Jackson Covered Bridge, and participants will walk to the Jackson Community Church, where the event will wrap up by 3 p.m.
