JACKSON — An attorney for Black Mountain Ski Area in Jackson put the town’s police chief on the stand in Carroll County Superior Court last Thursday, challenging Chief Chris Perley’s refusal to release records related to complaints about the area’s 90th anniversary celebration on May 3.

Perley testified that he didn’t have access to some of the documents being requested and the town’s attorney said those documents for the time being are exempted from Right to Know law based on the so called “Murray exemption.”
