CONWAY — In response to the announcement that Memorial Hospital and other members of the MaineHealth non-profit network are considering a plan to reorganize under a single governing board of trustees, The Conway Daily Sun, posed a series of questions. The responses from the hospital are below.

The responses from the hospital included an introduction, explaining the reasoning behind the move to what MaineHealth is calling “unification,” which would place all MaineHealth members under a single corporate entity with a shared budget of more than $2.4 billion and a shared balance sheet across the system.
