FRYEBURG, Maine — Buckets of positive intergenerational things are literally happening in the Mount Washington Valley and surrounding towns under the auspices of the recently launched MWV Age-Friendly initiative.

With New Hampshire second only to Maine as oldest state in the U.S., by residents’ median age, and Carroll County the oldest county in the Granite State (with a median age of 46), the demographics cried out for a local collaborative.
