FRYEBURG, Maine — Hundreds voted Thursday on proposals to let the town sell Eastern Slope Regional Airport land and to put a tax increment financing district in the same area of town.

Town Clerk Theresa Shaw said that by 4:15 p.m. about 500 people had voted at the American Legion hall on the two questions, which she said was a “pretty good” turnout. The polls were open from 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
