FRYEBURG, Maine — Selectmen at their last meeting discussed what to do with the former registry of deeds building and voiced support for the town library to take over the building at 510 Main St.

The discussion was the result of the surprise announcement in May by the Fryeburg Historical Society that it was reneging on an agreement to purchase the building from the town for $1.
