FRYEBURG, Maine — In a rare open-door Eastern Slope Airport Authority board meeting last week, members passed a wide-ranging motion that amends the bylaws to cut the number of directors by more than half, add a fifth member to the executive board and eliminate the general membership category, among other things.

The meeting took place May 31 in the Fryeburg Fair's Main Office building.
