CONWAY — The 5th annual Festival of Trees, a fundraiser for Carroll County Retired and Senior Volunteer Program will be held this year at the Red Jacket Mountain View Resort located at 2251 White Mountain Highway in North Conway.
Viewing of the trees will be held Nov. 29- Dec. 1. Young and old will delight in the beauty of decorated and lighted Christmas trees. Each tree is unique and available for a chance to win and take home for the holidays.
Admission is $10, which includes 10 raffle tickets. Additional 25 raffle tickets can be purchased for an additional $10 and will increase your chance to win your favorite holiday tree.
Trees include all decorations, lights, gifts, gift certificates — everything on it and under it. It’s easy to bid, just place your raffle ticket in the bucket or bag next to your favorite trees.
Raffle tickets will be drawn Dec. 1 at 3 p.m. Winners do not need to be present to win and will be contacted by phone. However, you must pick up your tree by 6 p.m. on Dec. 1. Winners present may begin packing their tree after the drawing is completed.
Winners are solely responsible for taking their trees down. Boxes and shrink wrap will be available for trees.
Festival of Trees viewing times are 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 29; 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30; and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 1.
On Friday, there will be a performance by Creative Sole Dance at 1 p.m. and a visit with Santa

In addition, there will be a special gala party on Friday, Nov. 29, from 6-8 p.m. The “Celebration Among the Trees” cocktail party will be sponsored by the White Mountain Independents and hosted by the Red Jacket.
The cost is $25 per person, which includes 25 tree raffle tickets.
Stroll the paths of over 75 beautiful, magical, decorated and lighted Christmas trees. Enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, music, dance performance and a wreath auction. All the while, a secret panel of judges will be judging the trees. First place, second place and third place awards will be given in each of four categories: International Christmas, Most Traditional, Children’s Dream and Theme Tree.
Proceeds will benefit Carroll County RSVP, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing a service essential to the well-being of our community’s elderly, disabled, veterans and children.
The medical transportation driver service, Meals on Wheels Volunteer Driver Program, center-based nutrition programs, hospital volunteer services, library services for the community and homebound, USDA commodities food distribution, food banks, senior exercise training and End 68 Hours of Hunger for our community’s children are just a few entities RSVP serves in the Mount Washington Valley.
