CONWAY — At the annual meeting of the Mount Washington Valley Economic Council, held at White Mountain Hotel and Resort on Nov. 16, the John Bruni Award for youthful leadership was presented to Ash Fischbein, and the Bob Morrell Award for civic entrepreneurship was awarded to Ed Bergeron.

Serving as master of ceremonies were MWVEC executive director Jac Cuddy and board chair Andy Orsini. Featured speaker was U.S. Rep. Chris Pappas (D-N.H., First District), who spoke about business issues and noted he had also visited the new North Conway Rec Path that day with members of the MWV Trails Association board.
