FRYEBURG, Maine — In a drama-filled meeting on Monday. the executive committee of the Eastern Slope Regional Airport Monday defended proposed bylaw changes that its board members will vote on later this month.

While the executive committee says the new bylaws will make the Fryeburg, Maine, based airport more efficient to govern, their critics say the leaders are behaving like "dictators" trying to consolidate their power.
