CONWAY — There will be flocks of Eagles all over town next Thursday. Students and staff from Kennett High School are scheduled to take part in their second annual community day, heading out into the community to do a Conway-wide cleanup.
“We originally planned to do it this Thursday but that the only day this week where the forecast is for rain,” Kevin Carpenter, principal of KHS, said before Monday night’s Conway School Board meeting in the Professional Development Center at the SAU 9 office. “The rain date, all along, was the following Thursday (Oct. 3). We’re going to pull it off, it’s going to be a great day.”
