Did Conway police hide evidence in assault case?

OSSIPEE — Allegations that Conway police hid an important witness from lawyers defending a Fryeburg, Maine, woman accused of assaulting and threatening an officer were heard in Carroll County Superior Court on Aug. 4.

Following an incident that took place May 31, 2016, outside U.S. Cellular in North Conway's Northway Plaza, Debbie Bethoney, 55, was charged with five misdemeanors: two counts of simple assault, one of resisting arrest, one of criminal threatening and one of simple assault on a police officer.
