FRYEBURG, Maine — A ceremony renaming the Canal Bridge for late Fryeburg Police Officer Nathan Desjardins will take place Sunday, Oct. 28, at 2 p.m.
The 20-year-old Desjardins, a reserve officer and EMT, died June 6, 2017, from head injuries he sustained in a boat crash that happened during a search of the Saco River for a missing Maine woman.
